1894 (8 Aug.) Shanghai "postage paid 1 cent" stationery envelope used commercially to Shanghai bearing a good strike of the circular "chinkiang/postal service" handstamp and, on the reverse, a superb strike of the large Chinkiang datestamp in black with Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. (9.8) in blue and pencil delivery characters. Clean and fine. Very late us of the Shanghai stationery as the Chinkiang postage stamps were now available, some allowance must have been given for the use of Shanghai payment
