1894 de Villard's hand-drawn designs of the postal markings in black and red ink indicating that two be made of brass "to be cut here", datestamp with changeable date "to be got out from England" and a double oval datestamp "to be made of rubber date to be changeable, to be made here". There are a couple of folding creases. An iconic and highly desirable piece of Chinkiang philatelic history
