1865 (3 June) envelope from Durban to Scotland carried on the Anglian from Mauritius via Durban to Cape Town and then by the Briton on her sixth homeward passage under the second contract, bearing 6d. lilac pair unusually cancelled with datestamps and with a further strike alongside, no accountancy mark or Devonport datestamp; and 1867 (12 Oct.) blue envelope from Durban by the Natal from Mauritius via Durban to Cape of Good Hope and then the Briton on her twelfth homeward passage under the second contract, bearing 6d. lilac pair neatly cancelled "2" and with despatch and London Paid datestamps alongside.
