1857 (Jan.) entire from Grahamstown to London and carried by the England on its second voyage, rated "1/-", bearing white paper 4d. blue pair with good to large margins on three sides, neatly cancelled and tied, despatch oval datestamp partially over-cancelled by a legible strike of the very rare "cape-packet/bristol" datestamp (17.3), Cape Town and arrival datestamps, all on reverse. A rare incoming cover from the Cape carried on this line with only twelve examples recorded by the owner. Photo
