1709 (23 April) letter signed to the Duke of Lorraine in French writing of her appreciation for his kind words and attachment to the "Great Alliance" to which he has provided a service by "leaving so generously your pretensions to Montserrat to clear the way for the public good" . Signed "Anne R". With address panel and filing endorsement on reverse with good wafer seal.
