Great Britain: A Royal Warrant, handsigned by King William III, Kensington, 13th January 1696, addressed to the Commissioners of the Treasury for the payment of £1,000 to the Chamberlain of the City of London, Thomas Cuddon, to be distributed to the poor of the parishes of the City. Handsigned by Sir Stephen Fox, Charles Montagu (who was also chancellor of the Exchequer from 1694) and Sir John Smith MP, Treasury Commissioners. Left edge a little uneven but a clear and bold signature of the King, VF and rare.
