Volunteer Force Long Service Medal (India & Colonies), G.V.R. (Volter: C. J. Celand 2nd. Bn. N. W. Ry. Voltr. Rifles.), unit officially corrected, good very fine

Charles Joseph Celand was born on 31 August 1872 at Lucknow and was listed as a Boiler Maker upon his marriage at Cawnpore in September 1895. A Boiler Inspector on the North Western Railways by 1905, he was awarded the Medal in I.A.O. 292 of 7 June 1915; sold with copied verification and extracts.
