Arthur Edward Sullivan was born on 14 April 1915 at Stanthorpe, Queensland, the son of Mary Sullivan-Bramley. He enlisted on 4 July 1940 at Wynnum, Queensland, and was discharged on 4 March 1945 whist serving with the 2/15 Battalion, Australian Infantry.
