R. E. Culverhouse was commissioned 2nd Lieutenant on 24 August 1938. He was promoted Captain on 2 May 1941 and Lieutenant Colonel on 1 May 1947, leaving the service shortly thereafter; sold with a Royal Warrant Holders Association invitation to the Annual Banquet at Grosvenor House, dated 7 November 1974, named to 'R. E. Culverhouse, Esq., T.D.', of Ridgways Limited.
