A rare 'double issue' pair to Aircraftsman 1st Class W. A. Cullum, Royal Air Force, late Royal Naval Air Service

William Albert Cullum was born on 29 May 1899 at Stepney, London, and joined the R.N.A.S. on 20 July 1917, giving his occupation as packer. Posted to Crystal Palace, East Fortune and briefly, Inchinnan - the manufacturer's Airship Station for rigid airship construction (by Wm. Beardmore & Co. Ltd) - Cullum later transferred to the R.A.F. on 31 March 1918.
