Trial Separations
The following group of separations were all applied by hand to imperforate sheets. Naturally the results were often poorly cut and badly aligned. Examples with the design intact are rarely encountered and are worth a considerable premium
Serrated Perforation 18 at Nelson
1/- blue-green, serrates all round and crisply cancelled "15" at Nelson, good strong colour and well-centred for this stamp; tiny pinhole otherwise very fine and of superb appearance.
