Trial Separations
The following group of separations were all applied by hand to imperforate sheets. Naturally the results were often poorly cut and badly aligned. Examples with the design intact are rarely encountered and are worth a considerable premium
Pin-Roulette 10 at Nelson
2d. blue, a horizontal pair showing roulettes at top, at right, between and inside design at foot, both lightly cancelled "18" at Dunedin, well-centred and an exceptionally rare multiple of this seldom offered stamp. R.P.S. Certificate (1971). S.G. 19, £7,000. Photo
