1897 (31 Jan.) opened-out envelope to de Villard in Shanghai bearing 1c. dull blue with overprint in red tied by a light strike of Wuhu China c.d.s., a further strike on the reverse along with Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. (1.2) and Customs Shanghai (2.2) along with postman's pencil note. The message inside refers to the sale of Wuhu P.P.C. stamps at $1 per set. Scarce. Photo

1897年1月31日蕪湖寄上海費拉爾破剖封, 貼一分暗藍色票, 紅色加䀂P.P.C., 銷較模糊蕪湖信局單圈英文日戳, 封背蓋另一相同蕪湖信局日戳, 2月1日上海工部戳及2月2目上海海關戳, 旁有郵差手寫記錄. 封內有記述加蓋P.P.C.票每套一圓等情況; 保存良好, 美品._x000D_ _x000D_ 源流: 1996年11月周煒良.
