1895 (1 Jan.) opened-out envelope used as a newspaper wrapper to carry "2 papers" addressed to New York and bears 1894 ½ca. tied by the Ichang oblong datestamp with the error of yeardate "94". Used with a pair of Hong Kong 2c. carmine tied by the British Post Office Shanghai c.d.s. (2 2) and readdressed on arrival. A few peripheral faults but a fine and rare printed paper rate cover. There is a note on the reverse, "With H.F. Brady's Compls.". Photo

1895年1月1日宜昌寄紐約作為新聞封套的破剖封, 貼1894年銀半分, 銷宜昌信館方框戳, 戳中年份錯為"94", 加貼香港2仙兩枚, 銷2月2日上海英國客郵局日戳, 信件到達後改送地址. 雖然有些破損, 但為罕見的郵資郵件, 背有"With H.F. Brady's Compls"字字._x000D_ _x000D_ 源流: 1991年9月Major James Starr; 2001年11月Charles Goodwyn.
