1895 (13 July) de Villard envelope to Shanghai bearing 2ca. rose-red tied by the oblong Chungking datestamp in violet and used in combination with Ichang 1895 2ca. (corner fault) cancelled by circular "ichang/post office" handstamp in purple with further strikes alongside and also tying the Chungking adhesive. The reverse with "AL" (Archibald Little) on the flap, Hankow Local Post (23.7) and Shanghai Local Post (26.7) c.d.s. along with the postman's pencil note. A fine and rare combination franking. Photo

1895年7月13日重慶寄上海封, 左上端貼玫紅色銀貳分票, 銷重慶信局長方框型中英文日戳, 經宜昌時又補貼了1895年宜昌銀貳分票, 銷紫色宜昌三圈中英文無日期戳, 另有左下端及重慶的票上亦蓋有相同戳. 封背蓋有7月23日漢口工部日戳及7月26日上海工部到達日戳, 另有郵差手寫記號; 封舌上有"AL"印記, 可知寄件人為利多爾(Archibald Little), 罕見的兩個商埠票的混貼封, 保存完好._x000D_ _x000D_ 源流: 1992年9月Frederick and Tomiko Barlett.
