Combination with Shanghai Local Post: Incoming Mail; 1895 (22 Nov.) Dierking envelope to Chungking bearing Shanghai 1893 1c. brown and black cancelled by a light strike of the Shanghai Local Post c.d.s. in blue, a further strike is on the reverse along with faint "hankow/local post" c.d.s. in violet (26.11) and "customs/hankow" c.d.s. (26.11) and an examiner's handstamp in blue. A fine and rare cover. It appears that there was a problem with the Local Post delivery between Hankow and Chungking at this time and, to avoid any further delay, this letter was given to the Customs Post to complete its journey. 1895年11月22日上海寄重慶外來封, 貼1893年上海工部銀壹分票一枚, 銷較為模糊藍色上海工部日戳, 封背另蓋一枚相同的上海工部日戳, 旁分別蓋11月26日藍紫色漢口工部及漢口海關日戳; 此信在漢口與重慶的工部書信館之間發生了某些障礙而遲誤, 因而要被轉到海關郵務才得以完成送遞; 此種由上海工部, 漢口工部及海關系統而達重慶的郵遞組合, 存世少見甚為珍罕.
