10fr. on 1fr.50c. blue, plate flaw featuring "anneau lune" variety at top left, together with non-surcharged "Pasteur" 1fr.50c. on 23 August registered envelope to Le Havre, tied by "new-york au havre/d" octagonal datestamp, showing the special six-line cachet of the "Ile-de-France" catapult flights at left, with the signature of the pilot Demougeot below and registration label with special linear cachet, showing arrival on back.
