An assortment of used and specimen cheques, many still with their counterfoil and includes 1684 running cash note to Charles Dunkan for £23.18.6d and shows the payment with interest, 1884 Coutts cheque signed Robert Leigh Pemberton, unused cheques include the Yorkshire Penny Bank, Cox & Co, Royal Engineers' Branch, Messrs Hoare on Fleet Street watermarked paper; also Beccles Savings' Bank notice of meeting in 1830 and an 1865 letter from the Belfast Bank.
