1760, Oct. 26. This day, about noon, his Majesty, King George III was proclaimed, first before Saville House, where the officers of state, nobility, and privy councillors, were present, with the officers of arms, all being on foot: then the officers of arms, being mounted on horseback, the like was done at Charing-cross; within Temple-bar; and at the end of Wood-street, in Cheapside; and lastly, at the Royal Exchange, with the usual solenities.
