#C17, #C18; Colomphil #2; 1921 “VALOR 10 CENTAVOS” on 50c Pale green, two examples featuring different surcharges in greyish blue with one showing “1” inverted, paying the 20c printed matter rate, as also confirmed by Colombia postage of 1c with ½c pair, all used with red “Servicio Postal Aéreo SCADTA/Barranquilla” c.d.s. in red on reverse of “Forero” cover flown on January 25, 1923 from Barranquilla to Bogotá, and endorsed “Por Hidroavión papeles de negocios” on front, backstamped on arrival; small portion of envelope lacking al lower left, of no significance; as a “Forero” envelope, it represents a very late usage, the only cover known bearing the two “VALOR 10 CENTAVOS” types (500 stamps of each were surcharged), as well as an infrequent printed matter rate in these issues; Rendon certificate;
