#C14, #C16, 30c Black on rose and 50c Green, 15 Sept. 1921, Experimental Flight, large envelope sent to New York, bearing one-third of 30c and 50c (one other 50c stamp is missing) to make-up the northbound quintuple rate, and compulsory 15c national postage (business mail) with three 5c, all tied by “Despacho Correspondencia Interior” c.d.s. of Bogotá, handstamped on back with three-lines “Sociedad Colombo-Alemana/De/ Transportes Aéreos” handstamp; flown in the “Magdalena” from Girardot to Puerto Berrío on September 16, staying overnight in Puerto Berrío and arriving at Barranquilla the following day.


A unique trisect usage of this stamp; its desirability is further enhanced by the fact that it was used on commercial correspondence; one of the great rarities of Colombian aerophilately; Rendon certificate;
