Scott, S.G. #A3, 1d Carmine tied by January 18, 1913 Expedition c.d.s., containing a typed letter by Captain Edward Evans on headed paper of the expedition dated "Antarctic Ocean, 25th Dec. 1912", with message in the name of the officers of the "Terra Nova" thanking for a generous Christmas gift, signed "Edward R. G. R. Evans" as Commander of the Royal Navy.
