Davis with cachet of the "Aurora" with penguin, 3.10.1913 letter written to Willian McDonald on board the "Terra Nova" while in Lyttelton, a "Canterbury Times" picture postcard "Gun Cotton Explosion" franked by K.E.VII Land 1d and Victoria Land 1d with 1908-11 "Brit. Antarctic Expd" c.d.s.'s and sent to J.J. Kinsey, two 1918-24 Amundsen Arctic Drift Expedition postcards with "Polhavet" c.d.s.'s, two covers from Norway of which one registered with the 1925 Amundsen set with Polar Bear and airplane, Trans Polar Flight miniature card in commemoration of Amundsen Polar Flight attempt franked with 5ö and 25ö and bearing on reverse U.S. 2c, 1924 cover franked by U.S. 3c and bearing "Maudexpeditionen" cachet; fine-very fine.
