1911 "Victoria/Land." overprint, S.G. #A3, #A3a, 1d Carmine, group of ten examples, all except one -used on piece with "Brit. Antarctic Expd./Ja 18/13" c.d.s.- being unmounted mint, including two singles, one bottom selvedge strip of three with middle stamp showing "comma for stop" variety, and two pairs, of which one featuring se-tenant pair with no stop after "Land" at left (the stamp without the variety with two short perforations at base); in addition one New Zealand 1d stamp on piece with the Expedition c.d.s. struck twice in black and blue; also a forged overprint on ½d and 1d on piece; a very fine group (S.G. £985+).
