"Latefee" straight-line handstamp without spacing between "Late" and "Fee", on two March-May 1896 items from Kingstown, one cover addressed to Ontario, Canada, bearing 1885-93 1d and 2½d on 1d, the other, a 1d stationery postcard, up-rated with 1885-93 1d and sent to Barbados, showing transit or arrival c.d.s.'s on reverse; these are the two items recorded exhibiting this instructional marking, which was unrecorded by Messenger-Pierce-Lowe;
