Ship Letter: 1815 (7 May) entire folio letter to Edinburgh, rated "1/2" and bearing, on reverse, a good strike of the crown in double-oval "Ship Letter/grenada" just across the flaps, the address side with large oval Port Glasgow Ship Letter datestamp and Edinburgh arrival (26.6); there are a couple of vertical folding creases. A very collectable example of this very scarce postmark of which only about six covers have been recorded. Photo
