Open Top Datestamp, Sans Serif Letters: 1847 (9 Aug.) wrapper to the Mission House, London, rated at "1/-" and showing, on reverse, a very neat strike of the small datestamp, without code letter, London arrival (5.9) struck across the flaps; light horizontal filing crease on the front, fresh and fine. This is a very scarce marking of which only three examples are recorded. Photo
