Crowned Circle: 1787 (28 Jan.) entire folio letter from T Townsend to London bearing, on reverse, a fair to good strike of the crown in circle struck across the flap, with London double-circle arrival (28.3) alongside; rated at "1/-". There is a horizontal folding crease and a lot of arrival notation which partly covers the handstamp. Photo
