Cnut (1016-35), Penny, 0.98g, Quatrefoil type, Maldon, Aethelwine, crowned bust left within quatrefoil, rev. +ÆDELPINE MÆL, long cross voided on quatrefoil with pellet at apex of each cusp, each limb terminating in three crescents (N781; S1157), the bust a little weak, better than very fine, a rare mint.
