Hellrigl #18b var., c var., 1998-1907 4a Green on native paper of poor quality, imperforate, "prominent outer rim" variety, tete-beche pair in bottom margin block of four, setting 9, positions 53-54/64-62, position 54 being the inverted cliche, unused without gum as issued, attractive bright color with somewhat smudged impression, the prominent frame variety is probably due to a cleaning which made the outer frameline stand out, very fine; extremely rare with the certificate noting that "Stamps of the "prominent outer rim" variety are rare, particularly in multiples; ihis block containing an inverted cliche is possible unique"; 1986 Hellrigl certificate (Scott #1var., a var.; $490.00+; S.G. #17var., a var; £490+; catalog values are for normal stamps).
