1825 (16 May) Exemplification of Common Recovery in English in a very neat hand on vellum featuring a portrait of the King with coat of arms and female allegorical figures, a second, smaller portrait is in the left illustrated margin. By John Garrard from Samuel Taylor of 2 messuages, 3 dovecotes, 6 gardens, 120 acres land, 100 acres meadow, 100 acres pasture and 20 acres wood in Lavenham, Steventon and Carlton in Bedfordshire (now Lavendon and Stevington) Bearing seal of Court of Common Pleas at foot (broken but largely complete, no clear impression) and £3 blue general duty stamp.
