Egyptian Ministry of Finance, a sole bill of exchange for 77,150 piastres, 2nd January 1864, payable on the 1st August 1865, signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Cairo, large format, text in French, Arabic and English, black on grey paper, endorsements on reverse to the Suez Canal Company and signed by its agent Mr. Vernoni, an excellent example of Egyptian short term borrowing, very fine.
