Egyptian Ministry of Finance, a sole bill of exchange for 195,000 piastres, 5th January 1864, payable on the 1st April 1865, signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Cairo, large format, text in French, Arabic and English, black on grey paper, endorsed on reverse to G.B.Vernoni, an excellent example of Egyptian short term borrowing, small tear at bottom edge, very fine.
