A very fine and rare example the gilt back plate with gilt mounts, comprising the crown over an Elephant with scrolls below 'Assaye Nagpore' over a floreate '2', attendant laurel sprays bear a scroll across the base 'China' with the Royal Dragon of China below, complete with original leather liner, c.1844-1855, excellent condition
