A very scarce and fine quality example the silver plated back plate with silver gilt mounts, comprising the crown over the castle of Alnwick, this in turn over a bugle horn with a floreate scroll at the bottom 'Northumberland', complete with original leather liner this stamped 'Caters, 56 Pall Mall', c.1830-1850, excellent condition
