An extremely fine and rare example the silver plated back plate with gilt and silver mounts, comprising the Royal Crest over an oval strap 'Queen's Own Light Infantry Militia', in the centre a bugle horn over the White Tower of London, all on a ground of blue enamel, silver oak sprays surround the Crest and strap, complete with original leather liner, c.1832-1855, a minute chip to the blue enamel otherwise in excellent condition
