The Queen's Own Light Infantry Militia (Tower Hamlets)
A very fine and rare example silver plated back plate bearing silver and gilt mounts, comprising the Royal Crest over an oval strap 'Queen's Own Light Infantry Militia', in the centre on a domed and enamelled ground a bugle horn over the White Tower of London, silver oak sprays surround the Crest and strap, complete with original leather liner, c.1832-1855, the blue enamel backing to the central ornaments and the pierced title strap mostly lacking otherwise very good condition
