A very fine quality example the silver plated back plate with silver and gilt mounts, comprising a multi-rayed beaded star overlaid with a crowned circle 'The King's Own Light Infantry Militia' enclosing the White Tower of London, the title and central ornament on a ground of green enamel, below the circle a gilt bugle horn, c.1830-1855, one minute crack to the central green enamel otherwise excellent condition
