A very fine example gilt back plate with silver gilt mounts, comprising a crowned circular strap 'The Earl of Ulster's Regiment' enclosing 'XCVII', the strap with attendant Union sprays and at the base a scroll 'Quo Fas Et Gloria Ducunt', complete with original leather liner, c.1830-1855, excellent condition
