A scarce and fine quality example the gilt back plate with silver and gilt mounts, comprising a multi-rayed elongated silver star with gilt overlay of crowned laurels enclosing '98' upon a domed ground, complete with original leather liner, c.1830-1855 (Parkyn 451), excellent condition
