A very fine quality example the gilt back plate with silver and gilt mounts, comprising a multi-rayed eastern style star overlaid with the gilt cross of the Order of the Bath, below the cross '95' on a lined oval, complete with original leather liner, c.1840-1855, (Parkyn 368), the green and red enamel backings to the centre of the cross are both damaged otherwise in very fine condition
