A good quality and scarce example the gilt back plate with silver mounts, comprising the prince of Wales's crest and motto over floreate numerals '77', laurel sprays with a scroll across the base 'Peninsula', complete with original leather liner, c.1830-1855 (Parkyn 421), some gilt lacking and two slight edge knocks otherwise very good condition
