A very fine example the engine turned gilt back plate with gilt mounts, comprising the crown over 'XI' with attendant laurel sprays a scroll at the base 'Peninsula', complete with original leather liner, c.1840-1855 (Parkyn 136), top left hand corner with slight buckle otherwise very fine condition
