Cayman Islands The John Byl Collection 1908 (12 Feb.) "2 1/2d" on 4d. Brown and Blue Provisional 1908 (3 Mar.) O.H.M.S. envelope from the Postmistress, Miss Gwendolyn Parsons, to Dr. Lester F. Potter. New Bedford, Mass., U.S.A., enclosing a letter explaining the need for the surcharge, bearing "2 1/2d" on 4d. brown and blue neatly cancelled with Georgetown c.d.s., Kingston, Jamaica transit c.d.s. (5.3) on reverse. Exceptionally rare, being one of only four covers recorded with this surcharge and the only cover recorded with the stamp used alone. B.P.A. Certificate (1988). S.G. 35.
