The Profile Head 1912-24 Watermark Royal Cypher One Penny Perforated Colour Trials, 1912 The following eight lots comprise a lower right corner block of twelve (6x2), unless otherwise stated, with Control "C/X 8/12" in the lower margin, together with a 1d. stamp of King Edward VII which was left imperforate. All are on gummed watermark paper In scarlet and, on reverse, each handstamped "Colour Trial D" in red; the upper row with horizontal bend, otherwise fresh and fine.
