Seychelles 1897-1900 Colours Changed Value Tablet Essays 1899 (8 Sept.) piece of brown tracing paper (76x71mm.) marked "seychelles." at top and with handpainted essays in carmine for eleven value tablets, comprising 6c. and 30c. on a solid background with the values highlighted in Chinese white (not subsequently used during the Victorian reign), the other nine on plain ground and comprising 75c. and four each of the 1r.50 and 2r.25 in varying forms, the pair at left drawn round and as chosen, the pair at right marked "a" and "b" respectively and dated "Sep. 18th.".
