Antarctica 1908-10 French Antarctic Expedition by Jean-Baptiste Charcot 1908-10 Expedition label in deep blue, inscribed "pole sud - expedtion charcot/pourquoi pas?" and cancelled with "expedition francaise/pole sud/pouquoi pas?" handstamp in pink, good to very large margins; trace of a crease at right, otherwise very fine and believed to have come off a letter written by Charcot to the Governor of Chile.
