Antarctica 1908-10 French Antarctic Expedition by Jean-Baptiste Charcot 1910 (26 Apr.) real photo picture postcard (icebergs) from Pernambuco to Punta Arenas, Chile, bearing the expedition label in deep blue with good to very large margins and handstamped with "expedition francaise/pole sud/pouquoi pas?" handstamp in pink, partially covered by Brazil 200r. blue lightly cancelled and tied by Pernambuco c.d.s.; the card with two 5mm. hole punches at left, nevertheless a very rare usage of the expedition label of which no more than two or three exist.
