Gibraltar The Spanish Overland Mail Regular arrangements were made, about 1749, for the English Mails to be carried through Spain although the service was suspended in times of war 1766 (8 Mar.) entire letter from Saffi, Morocco to Marseilles, carried privately to Gibraltar where it was endorsed on reverse "Recevida el 26 marco y encaminada el 28 por la M.S. Juaqui Aboab Gibr", forwarded overland and showing a very fine strike of the Seville "Andalucia/Alta" h.s.; most attractive. Photo Estimate £ 500-600
