Brazil1845, 60r. black, worn impression, type II, an outstanding pair from the right of the sheet, clear to enormous margins with just part of frame line missing at left, cleanly tied by "Correio Da Bahia" cds on single maritime rate entire letter carried by the "S. Salvador" to Maranhão, dated 5 November 1845. One of the most attractive examples of this franking known, being marginal and unusually applied on front of cover. Cert. Moorhouse. RHM 6. Ex Hubbard.
